  • YouTube Announces Its Version Of Snapchat’s Stories Among Community Tab Updates

Unlike what is there in Snapchat or Instagram Stories, YouTube Reels can be saved for as long as creators want.

The feature, unlike stories on Snapchat or Instagram that is limited to one short video for a day, lets creators develop multiple stories that will last forever (at least, until the creator removes them from their channels). On Snapchat, Instagram and other social platforms, Stories posted have an expiry time of 24 hours. Community is created to make YouTube more social, and reduce the need for creators to turn to other social networks to communicate with fans.

The new update was developed based on feedback gathered from content creators, and one of the changes added to the feature is YouTube's own version of the Stories format called "Reels". You can add filters, music, and text to the Reels, with creators able to also add some "YouTube-y" stickers and links to their other YouTube videos. YouTube is also integrating features already available on Community for Reels. YouTube doesn't provide a time frame for when it expects to introduce Reels to all of its creators. After the said duration, Stories disappear from their accounts.

Young Doubles In Man Utd Win Over Watford
Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic was forced off early in the second half with what appeared to be a leg injury. Doucoure was booked for fouling Paul Pogba and Young clinically dispatched a 25-yard free-kick with unerring accuracy.

The YouTube Reels feature is now available for all Creators who have more than 10000 subscribers. People want to share content without having to curate, edit and publish a traditional YouTube video. Currently, Reels is being tested in a small group of the creators and the company hasn't revealed any date for its final roll out.

YouTube is always touted as being about the community. Now the most engaged viewers will see Community posts in their Home feed regardless of being subscribed to the channel or not. These accounts will now have the ability to post text, images, polls, GIFs, and host livestreams for their fans. Users will also have the opportunity to evaluate the Reels, putting them huskies or dslan.
