If this sounds vaguely familiar, it's because the Wall Street Journal reported earlier this year on a meeting Flynn hosted in NY in September 2016, in which participants basically talked about kidnapping Fethullah Gulen, removing him from his home in Pennsylvania, circumventing America's extradition process, and delivering him to Turkey's government, which considers Gulen a unsafe enemy.
The report does not expand on what exactly was discussed during that meeting in Washington, D.C., but investigators apparently learned about it while reviewing emails Flynn Intel Group sent to Rohrabacher's staff thanking them for the conversation. The meeting caught the attention of Federal Bureau of Investigation, who have questioned at least four people about it.
"One person familiar with the alleged discussions about Mr. Gulen said Mr. Flynn also was prepared to use his influence in the White House to further the legal extradition of the cleric, who lives in Pennsylvania", WSJ added.
His name has frequently come up around Mueller's investigation into whether Trump's campaign colluded with Russian Federation in its election meddling, something Trump has steadfastly denied.

Lawyers for Flynn and his son declined to comment to the Journal.
The sources could not confirm whether, in the meeting, Rohrabacher and Flynn discussed US policy toward Russian Federation.
Republican Rep. Devin Nunes, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, attended a breakfast meeting in January that Michael Flynn, the incoming national security adviser at the time, and Mevlut Cavusoglu, the Turkish foreign minister, also attended. It was revealed afterward that during the election and transition Flynn was working as a foreign agent on behalf of Turkey.
Flynn's meeting in December followed one that he attended on September 19, 2016 with two top Turkish government officials, Turkish foreign affairs minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and energy minister Berat Albayrak. Flynn was named Trump's national security adviser in November.
On November 8, Flynn published an op-ed piece in The Hill that called Gulen "a shady Islamic mullah" and a "radical Islamist".
