Talking about the Files Go app, it's a simple file manager that aims to help you take care of the files stored on your phone and tell you about which files are taking up most of the space.

This is a beta app, and Google notes that there could be some bugs and issues that arise while using the app. Read on to learn about Files Go and the cool things this soon-to-be-released app can do for you.

9to5Google spotted the app in the Play Store, which was available briefly under Google's early-access program.

AirDrop is one of those Apple-only features that has made its devices extremely useful. The main UI shows an overview of the storage situation on the phone. Importantly, Files Go would spot and remove spam as well as duplicate images to free up storage. According to now-pulled Play Store images, the app is meant to transfer files wirelessly, even without an internet connection, much like Apple's AirDrop tech.

Google has just officially launched the new Files Go free file manager for Android and you can get it on the Google Play Store at the link below.

The Magic of Harry Potter is Coming to a Neighborhood Near You
You can also stare at the logo for the game, because there isn't much else to go on. There have been many Harry Potter console games over the years, but none recently.

Users can browse through all of your phone's content by downloads, received files, images, videos, audio, and documents.

But the most interesting part of the app is a "Transfer files without internet" feature that lets you "transfer files fast to nearby friends" at high speeds.

The app itself is fairly lightweight, as an under 6 MB download. Files Go works by creating a Wi-Fi hotspot that connects other devices to yours.

The app is available now for anyone who wants to give it a shot. To use the app, both sender and receiver need to have the app opened and use the Send and Receive file option.

In a panel below it lists stored chat app media, such as pictures, that can be removed. The bad news, is that there is no official release date yet for it to hit Google Play Store.
