Oppo is all set to launch its new smartphone, the Oppo F5 in India. The Oppo F5 base variant is priced at Rs. 19,990 and it comes in two colour options- Gold and Black. We earlier reported that the Oppo F5 might be launched in three variants and with this announcement, the news has been confirmed. Check out the full tech-specs and details below. The A.I. Beauty Recognition technology uses artificial intelligence to recognise skin tone and type, gender and age of all subjects within an image by scanning more than 200 facial recognition spots and learns facial features unique to each subject, regardless of the angle or lighting. What has changed is the technology driving the 20MP front camera. The F5 also offers a bokeh mode which blurs the background in the images. The F5 is their latest gambit to cater to the selfie culture that's burgeoning in the country.

There is a "Facial Unlock" feature that allows users to authenticate access to the device with their faces.

Priced at INR 19,990 the F5 (Gold and Black Edition) will go on sale on November 9th and will be available both online and offline. Hence with the collaboration between OPPO and Garena, customers will get free "Joker" character in the MOBA game AOV (Arena of Valor). Oppo also plans to launch a F5 Youth edition in the country next month. It has a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) LTPS "Full Screen" display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. There's a fingerprint reader at the back for those who prefer using their hands. It also comes equipped with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and a 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash.
