"In addition, at the bottom of the search results page, you can clearly see which country service you are now using". Now the choice of country service will no longer be indicated by domain but instead would be served by the country service that corresponds to one's location. This means that typing the relevant ccTLD in one's browser would no longer bring one to the various country services-this preference now needs to be managed directly in settings. "By default, you'll now automatically be served the appropriate country service without seeing a change in Google's ccTLD", the report said on Friday. So, if you're in the United States, you'll get the country service for the US.

Despite being automatically switched to other versions of Google, you do still have the ability to manually switch back to the country service you want to receive by heading into the settings menu, but using the old country URLs to access the service you want will no longer work. From today Google search results won't be based on the domain you are searching on preferably it will be based on your current location.

Google has been operating many of its existing services in a similar manner.

This change will shadow all the platforms - Desktop, web, app and mobile web. All you need to do is simply change the location on the homepage settings.

In other words, if someone is in Los Angeles and uses to try to get UK-based local results, they'll still get results relevant to L.A. Google explains that it has a somewhat good reason for making this change, but fortunately there's still a way for users to get results based on another location. For example, residents of Russia if in the address bar of a search engine write google domain, it would still appear the Russian website and news.
