Two B-1B strategic bombers of the US Air Force trained with South Korea's F-15K fighter jets over and near the Korean peninsula in yet another show of force against North Korea, defence authorities here said on Wednesday.

The Guam-based B-1B Lancers were joined by South Korean fighter jets and conducted drills in the seas off both sides of the peninsula, according to South Korea's military.

According to Reuters, North Korea has launched two missiles over Japan and conducted its sixth nuclear test in recent weeks as it fast advances toward its goal of developing a nuclear-tipped missile capable of hitting the USA mainland.

Ri has previously called Trump "President Evil" and his comments are likely to fuel an escalating war of words between the U.S. President and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Late last month, the United States flew B-1Bs over worldwide waters close to the North's east coast.

The U.S. Air Force bombers and the South Korean fighters then conducted a second firing exercise over the Yellow Sea, according to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Liverpool's Mane facing six weeks out with hamstring injury
Liverpool won just once in seven matches in all competitions while Mane was at the African Nations Cup in January. Mané has scored three goals in the four Premier League appearances he has made with Liveropool this season.

"If the North Koreans in fact accessed the US/South Korean defense plans, this is a treasure trove of information and presents a real danger", said CNN military analyst and retired Lt. Col. Rick Francona.

The drills were conducted not long after Lee broke the news about the alleged cyberattacks to reporters.

In an obvious show of force over the continued missile activities of North Korea, led by Kim Jong Un, the United States military has flown two strategic bombers over the Korean peninsula.

North Korea has said Trump is "on a suicide mission" against it, with the country's foreign minister calling the US President "mentally deranged" in a speech at the United Nations last month.

About 235 gigabytes worth of military data was stolen by the hackers, Rhee told CNN.

The rogue regime is suspected to have perpetrated the infamous Sony Pictures hack, incapacitated and stolen millions from top banks, negatively impacted hundreds of thousands of computers worldwide through the spread of ransomware, and disrupted numerous systems across South Korea.

The training was part of a programme of "extended deterrence" against North Korea, it added.
