  • Body parts found by Danish police are from Swedish journalist Kim Wall

The head of Swedish journalist Kim Wall has been found, two months after she disappeared on trip with a Danish submariner, Danish police say. Wall's dismembered torso washed ashore 12 days after she boarded Madsen's homemade submarine for the interview. A warning - there are disturbing details in this report. Her arms are still missing.

Peter Madsen, a Danish submarine enthusiast has been charged with her murder but is denying the charges.

He later said he buried Wall at sea after she accidentally died from hitting her head on a heavy hatch cover.

The owner of the submarine, Peter Madsen, is in pre-trial detention on suspicion of Wall's murder.

Madsen gave conflicting accounts as to what happened, initially claiming he dropped the journalist off near Copenhagen before the submarine sank.

"No cause of death has been established yet", Moeller said, but the investigation has been focusing on whether decapitation had brought about Wall's death.
