Lady Gaga has revealed that she will "take a rest" and "slow down for a moment for some healing" after the Joanne World Tour.

A recent teaser for Lady Gaga's new Netflix documentary, "Five Foot Two," revealed an emotional moment in the pop star's ongoing struggle with chronic pain.

'So the thing with me and Madonna, for example, is that I admired her always, ' she said.

During the press conference, she teared up when asked about her struggle with chronic pain, which forced her to cancel a September 4 performance in Montreal, Canada.

The film follows the Lady Gaga for a full year in her life as she deals with all the intensities of being not just an entertainer but a huge personality and icon, as well. "I sold 10 million [records] and lose Matt [Williams]. For young women and girls, I think (it's) a story of what it means to be both powerful and vulnerable, and be generous". Though she's discussed the injury before, the documentary sheds light on the extent of her pain.

In the beginning of the film, Gaga admits that they are not in the best place. Throughout the film, the singer was seen undergoing a handful of treatments to help ease muscle spasms, which cause her to feel pain on the entire right side of her body.

"But that's not to say there weren't extreme highs", she said of stardom.

"I've never really done a lifetime achievement award or a performance to celebrate my career", she says.
