Hillary Clinton blamed attacks against her by Bernie Sanders during the Democratic primary for president on her eventual loss in the general election to Donald Trump.

Clinton will be releasing a book this September 12 titled "What Happened", where she opens up about how Sanders' blasts against her caused "lasting damage" and set the foundation for Trump's "Crooked Hillary" campaign, CNN confirmed.

Although it is not set for release until next week, extracts have been published by CNN after they bought an early copy in a Florida bookshop.

Hillary Clinton's latest memoir demonstrates both why she was obviously far superior to Donald Trump as a presidential choice and why it took me so long to convince myself to actually vote for her.
