Pew asked American adults how they felt about Trump's conduct in office: Whether they "liked" it, had "mixed feelings" or "didn't like it".

Rewriting our nation's tax code, even when both sides are working together, is more easily said than done. One of the first items in the House is a massive spending bill that would slash nearly $1 billion from disaster accounts to help finance Trump's U.S. -Mexico border wall.

"We must reduce the tax rate on American businesses so they keep jobs in America, create jobs in America and compete for workers right here in America", Trump said in a speech aimed at shoring up support for a broad tax-cut plan.

"This is an area on which I'm optimistic President Trump and I will find common ground", she said.

Among Republicans and Republican-leaning independents, just 31% say they agree with Trump on all or almost all issues, while an additional 38% agree with him on many, but not all, issues.

ADVERTISEMENTSixty-eight percent of Republicans said he's drawing the country together. Among Democrats, 89% have a negative view of Trump's conduct. That has wounded the president's relationship with his own party, and the coming weeks should offer a test of how much clout he has with fellow Republicans. It is no secret that President Trump and Republican lawmakers could use a victory now more than ever as they attempt to hold onto majorities in the House and Senate. 52 percent of respondents said that white supremacists were more to blame for the rally escalating into deadly violence while 17 percent said the counter protesters were more to blame.

The nationwide poll was taken from a sample of 10,129 adults over age 18 and conducted by NBC and SurveyMonkey between August 24 and August 29.

Most who disapprove of Trump like nothing about his presidency
President Trump then highlighted Springfield as the birth place of Route 66 and calls for a comeback of historic proportions. So how should we reform the tax code? A rate between 20% and 25% is thought to be more likely.

"Your advantage over us will be diminished, but it would still be an advantage", he added. For much of the year Republicans debated that idea, which would have changed business taxes so that imports were taxed and exports were not.

Trump's embrace of racism and hate is tearing America apart, according to 56 percent of the voters in a Fox News poll.

"Contemptible", "crazy", and "we all knew he was a nut" are the words a Pittsburg, Pennsylvania focus group used to describe President Donald Trump - including a few of his voters.

Their proposal to implement a "territorial tax system", which was included in President Trump's proposals in April, would exempt the profits that corporations characterize as having been earned outside the U.S. This means that offshore profit shifting by corporations would reap even greater savings than it does now. In a Fox News poll, 44 percent approved of Trump's handling of the storm compared to 26 percent who disapproved. Trump would have signed it - had the Republican Congress actually sent it to him.

So far though, there's been scant progress by the Trump administration on that pledge.

When it comes to Trump, there is, however, something besides just voter denial and loyalty going on.

The poll's finding that 55 percent of voters disapprove of the job he is doing roughly coincides with the percentage of voters who say he is ripping the country apart, does not respect minorities and mishandled Charlottesville. Meanwhile, dissatisfaction has jumped 11 points to 64%.
