Most who disapprove of Trump like nothing about his presidency

President Trump's broad objectives include simplifying the tax code, to make it "simple, fair and easy to understand"; developing a "competitive tax code that creates more jobs and higher wages for Americans"; and lowering taxes for middle-class Americans "so they can keep more of their hard-earned paychecks". Luckily, they will have many options: there are over 150 credits, deductions, and other preferential provisions in the federal tax code, which will collectively reduce federal revenue by trillions of dollars over the next decade. They see President Trump as a human wrecking ball who will destroy the USA welfare state through his policies of deporting criminal illegal immigrants, the extreme vetting of refugees entering the US and those immigrating from countries that are state sponsors of radical Islamic terrorism, building a wall on our southern border, the deregulation of business, the lowering of personal and corporate taxes, supporting the fossil fuel industry, repealing and replacing the ACA, etc.

Stephen Moore has blamed the loss of United States business to many countries, including Ireland, on the USA having "the highest business tax rate in the world".

"Honestly I can not think of a single thing I like about this President, try as I might", said one 65-year-old man.

Trump rallied supporters as he tries to bring tax reform to the front of the agenda for Congress, as lawmakers return from the August recess next week.

Because the Democrats view President Trump as a threat to their Progressive ideology, there is no line they will not cross in opposing him, his supporters and the Republican Party.

"Tax rates are only a small piece of the factors that determine where a company locates", Rosenthal said.

So how should we reform the tax code? A rate between 20% and 25% is thought to be more likely. But relatively few companies pay the top rate. The nearly $1 billion cut was meant to help finance Trump's proposed border wall.

The $876 million cut, which is included in the 1,305-page measure's homeland security section, pays for roughly half the cost of Trump's down payment on the U.S. -Mexico border wall that the president repeatedly promised Mexico would finance.

The FEMA cut is the handiwork of House Appropriations Committee Chairman Rodney Frelinghuysen, R-N.J. - the force behind a $50 billion-plus 2013 superstorm Sandy recovery package - and Rep. John Carter, whose home state of Texas is suffering from Harvey. He called out the states' two GOP senators: Jeff Flake, who faces a primary threat and a general election fight in 2018 and has been critical of the president, and John McCain, whose no vote prevented GOP health care efforts from moving forward.

The White House's stated goal is to adopt tax reform by the end of the year, but that's a tall task both technically and politically. "If they don't do their job, they need to be fired", Armstrong said.

President Trump then highlighted Springfield as the birth place of Route 66 and calls for a comeback of historic proportions.
