While Tamil Nadu chief minister E Palaniswamy and AIADMK leader O Paneerselvam are busy rejoicing the AIADMK merger on Monday, AIADMK interim general VK Sasikala has fresh trouble brewing for her in Bengaluru's Parappana Agrahara Central Prison as CCTV footage has surfaced suggesting special treatment is given to her, according to media reports.

It, however, does not throw light on when it was recorded or which part of the jail it is from. The prison officials TOI spoke to said the video showed Sasikala and Ilavarasi walking from their barracks towards visitors' room to meet their advocates. Both have been convicted by the Supreme Court in the disproportionate assets case and are serving a four-year sentence in the Bengaluru jail. The CCTV cameras had been installed to check the activities at the entry gate of the women prisoners barrack, and it captured on camera, Sasikala leaving the women's barrack and walking to "B" gate through Outer Circle road, to the interview room. She is also reportedly allowed to leave the prison premises.

The footage was submitted by ex-DIG (Prisons) D Roopa on August 19 as part of her statement to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in support of her allegations that Sasikala was being given preferential treatment in the prison.

Roopa, who appeared before the ACB, was given a questionnaire and she had written response to it. Sasikala was also carrying a bag and was escorted in by a lady officer-male guards are barred from entering women jails.

Crawford KOs Indongo to unify titles
Indongo, 34, quickly got up and fought back for the remainder of the round, but he was being overpowered by the American. Crawford has 31 victories in 31 fights and is widely considered to be one of the best boxers in the world.

The notice further said that Roopa also alleged that Sasikala had set up a private kitchen, where special food could be made for her, but as she failed to take snaps of the place, it only shows that the place was "non-existent" although she (Roopa) claims that the evidence was erased.

Speaking to TNM, Megharikh, DG Prisons said, "I have not seen this video you are talking about".

Soon after the submission of report she was transferred to traffic department in the capital of Karnataka. "Once the commission submits the report, we will know what exactly happened in the prison".
