  • THQ Nordic announces Black Mirror—a Gothic horror reboot about 'madness and psychological distress'

The new game will actually be a reboot, so those unfamiliar with the series will be able to follow the story without any trouble. The game is scheduled to release on November 28th, 2017 later this year for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

THQ Nordic and KING Art Games announced today a brand new horror adventure game called Black Mirror which will launch in a few months on PC and consoles. Further, it has nothing to do with the popular Netflix series of the same name.

It's important to note that this new installment in the series is in fact a modern-reimagining of the gothic-horror adventure series, and not Black Mirror 4.

Trophy hunting of grizzly bears ending this fall
The location of the hunt was never confirmed, and following public outrage, the hunters who uploaded it made the footage private. He'd applied six times for a limited-entry grizzly hunt over a decade, was drawn twice, but this was his first successful hunt.

Black Mirror was a point-and-click title developed by Future Games, and released in 2003 and 2004.

The game seems to have a Lovecraftian vibe about it, and centers around Dr. Farber going to visit a David Gordon, who ends up going through a dark journey of rediscovering his childhood and his family's horrifying secret. Playing as David Gordon, players will get to focus on the investigation of the nightmarish visions that plague his mind. Blood is not always thicker than water. King Art Games (The Book of Unwritten Tales, The Dwarves) created the sequel Black Mirror II in 2009 and is now in charge of a reboot to the series, with THQ Nordic as producer and publisher.

THQ Nordic intends to introduce the game at Gamescom 2017 next week, alongside its other titles. "We have developed a new interpretation that both retains the strengths of the original games and gives us more room to explore fresh possibilities in terms of gameplay so that players can experience the world of Black Mirror in a more direct and free way, and not "just" in classic point-and-click style".
