After all, Ball is on record as saying he could beat Michael Jordan in a game of one-on-one. Ice Cube-N.W.A.co-founder, noted fictional barber, and owner of the the brand new BIG3 basketball league, in which former NBA stars square off in three-on-three battles.

Ball accepted the challenge last week with a recorded video message that was very LaVar Ball. "Me and my crew gonna show you what we do".

During Sunday's BIG3 four-point challenge against LaVar Ball, it seems as though Ice Cube put his best into it. "Cause I ain't scared of you, man".

Maybe that was his problem Sunday during a BIG3 event at Staples Center. It features a spot on the court for a 4-pointer.

The blonde bombshell joined forces with her director boyfriend Darren Aronofsky , 48, for nail-biting thriller Mother! . Later in the interview, Lawrence did take slight issue saying she's never described herself as a regular person.

Ice Cube sunk two shots, while Ball hit just one after a number of embarrassing bricks and air balls.

The announcer declared Ice Cube the victor of Sunday's contest.

The rapper, who issued the challenge in May, said he would buy 10 pairs of Ball's $495 Big Baller Brand sneakers should he lose. He also said that Charles Barkley could have won a championship if he'd adopted a more LaVar frame of mind. Ball didn't have to match the bet, but his loss is still a win for anyone hoping for a shot to his ego.
