  • Special counsel Robert Mueller wants documents from White House on Michael Flynn's ties to Turkey

Prosecutors suspect that Mr Flynn may have received secret payments from the Turkish government during the presidential campaign, it is claimed.

These investigators have called the White House to produce documents about Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser to president Donald Trump, according to the daily, citing officials close to the investigation.

Mr Flynn, a former lieutenant general in the USA army, failed to register as a foreign agent when Flynn Intel Group signed a $600,000 contract with Mr Alptekin's Dutch company Inovo BV in August 2016.

Mueller's team has asked the White House for documents related to Flynn's lobbying and questioned witnesses about whether he was paid by the Turkish government, according to a report from The New York Times. The document request was not a formal subpoena, the newspaper has reported.

Reportedly, Mueller and his team are now investigating not only whether Flynn failed to report his links to a foreign government as required by law or if he had illicit ties with Russian elements, but all of Flynn's business connections throughout the campaign. But she says the president "has not even discussed" nor is "discussing" firing Mueller.

Gareth Bale 'assured of Real Madrid future'
The 24-year-old Belgian was the crown jewel of United's summer spending and will look to lead the front line as the new No. 9. The amount corresponds with the Neymar clause that both Real and PSG valued paying the previous summer (192m euros).

They have sought related documents from the White House and have asked related information from witnesses during interviews, a significant development in the Russian Federation investigation.

President Trump sacked FBI director James Comey in May after asking him to drop the investigation into Mr Flynn's links with Russian Federation.

But Mueller is reportedly looking into business dealings of Trump and his associates and whether Trump obstructed justice by firing former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey.

While Mueller steps up his investigation into allegations of Russian interference in 2016 USA presidential election, Trump again angrily denied that his campaign team colluded with the Kremlin.
