Google condemned an engineer's anonymous manifesto blasting women as ineffective tech workers, citing biological differences.

A Google employee reportedly went on a tirade against the internet giant, alleging that conservatives at the company are "alienated" and forced to keep their views "in the closet".

A Google employee has come under fire for releasing a ten-page-long document on why diversity in the workplace is risky. He tries to highlight the point that racism should be avoided and also the tech work should be assigned to men who would make a difference because of biological phrases.

The company should end its programs created to encourage members of minorities and underrepresented groups from joining the company, because it's "lowering the bar". However, companies including Netflix and Buffer have made strides along with Google to address the diversity issues present in Silicon Valley.

Fire and smoke engulfed much of the red-brick structure, but there were no injuries. The Department of Homeland Security is also keeping an eye on the investigation.

The leak of the document is likely to be embarrassing to the company as it welcomes a diversity tsar to its ranks. "Otherwise "Diversity and Inclusion" which is essentially a pipeline from Women's and African Studies into Google, will ruin the company".

Google is now battling the U.S. Department of Labour as the agency says it found "systemic compensation disparities against women pretty much across the entire workforce", the Telegraph reported.

Danielle Brown, Google's new vice president of diversity and inclusion, responded, saying, "We are unequivocal in our belief that diversity and inclusion are critical to our success as a company". Written by a senior software engineer, "Google's Ideological Echo Chamber" calls for an end to diversity initiatives that aim to account for various historical imbalances.

"Part of building an open, inclusive environment means fostering a culture in which those with alternative views, including different political views, feel safe sharing their opinions", she wrote, according to Gizmodo. "Debate and discussion takes time".

In June, Google released data showing that the proportion of female and black employees across the company as a whole had not changed from 2015 to 2016. Brown disagreed with the letter, which accuses Google of being left-leaning and oppressive towards views that go against a left ideology, but said those views must adhere to "Code of Conduct, policies, and anti-discrimination laws". But the furor over the memo indicates once again that tech has more to do to address widespread discrimination against women.
