Body of 30-Year-Old Vacationer Found Buried on Maryland Beach

Ocean City police of Maryland are continuing to investigate the death of a Plano woman at 2nd Street and the beach. She was discovered by beachgoers at around 6.30 a.m. Monday morning. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine a cause and manner of death.

Detectives said their investigation was ongoing.

Ocean City is one of the most popular beach resorts in the Mid Atlantic area, and draws visitors from the Washington Baltimore region and many other parts of the country.

Her death "appears to be accidental, but they have not ruled out anything", news website delmarvanow said.

Natural Resources Police said the man, identified as 30-year-old Richard Wade Tesar of Berlin, broke his neck.
