  • 'Get ready to die': Sir David Attenborough's producer gets wild in shocking road rage attack

FORMER BBC producer Fergus Beeley was caught on camera telling a family he wanted them dead in a shocking road rage clash.

"You're under citizen's arrest".

As Gale gets out the auto, a woman says: "You said you want us dead", to which he replies, "I do want you dead".

He then jabs his finger at each family member screaming: "You're under a citizen's arrest, you're under a citizen's arrest, you're under a citizen's arrest and I tell you what, you are, too".

Mr Gale was exchanging details with the driver when Mr Beeley pulled up and attempted to confront them about risky driving by performing a citizen's arrest. "He flew into an absolute raving state", Simon reportedly told the publication.

"I do want you dead", Mr Beeley is heard screaming in the four-minute clip that was posted to YouTube.

The footage was captured in the aftermath of a vehicle crash on the M37 motorway near Portsmouth on Saturday (July 22) morning.

Video footage of the incident, shot by Simon's mother-in-law, showed the producer squaring up to him, telling him: "Put your hands on the vehicle and get ready to die, this is a citizen's arrest".

When quizzed on why the young child was at fault, Beeley simply yelled in response: "you're under under a citizen's arrest".

Texas police: 8 found dead in tractor-trailer; driver arrested
Police said 17 victims were taken to University Hospital and San Antonio Military Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. "With heat stroke , you sometimes have neurological deficits that you're never going to be able to recover from".

Mr Beeley reportedly stated that he had reacted angrily "because people almost lost their lives on the motorway".

"I'm not going to quieten down, because this is a citizens arrest", he continues, before the footage ends.

Mr Gale claims that Beeley, in a fit of rage, grabbed hold of him around the throat and "raised his fist in a threatening manner".

He said: "It was quite a scary thing".

He alleged he had been "assaulted" by a family member and told the witness: "You didn't see what happened on the motorway with unsafe driving".

Police were called to the road rage incident, but said the two men involved decided not to pursue a complaint.

When police arrived at the auto park near Southampton, nobody was taken into custody, but assault allegations by both men were recorded.

Daily Star Online has contacted Mr Beeley for comment.

Advice was given to both parties and they were told the two assaults would be recorded and filed.
