  • Samsung to Make iPhone Chips Again in 2018 Says Rumor

The future of the Note series was thrown into doubt after the Note 7 nightmare. There is not much information on the megapixels front, but it is expected to come with great performance and advanced features. What we know for sure is that it will feature that same superb thin bezel screen. A promo is now being held by the retail giant promising savings of up to $400 when customers avail and "activate with a monthly installment plan or choose an unlocked version" of Samsung's latest mobile offering.

But the biggest consumer concern for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is if won't end up like last year's fiasco.

However, the phone which was pictured in the tweet does not appear to be the company's latest model. Previously, a CAD design of the alleged Galaxy Note 8 was posted on Twitter by Jonathan Endicott, the CEO of Slickwarps. Many argue that the fact Samsung hasn't taken it down indicates that the company has done this on objective in order to build interest for the forthcoming phone.

Galaxy Unpacked - is scheduled for 23 August 2017 at 11:00EDT.

Expect to receive the firmware version G950USQU1AQGA if you own the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S8. Live streaming of the event will be available at www.samsung.com and Samsung Newsroom. Also, it could have a smaller price tag than the iPhone 8, which will reportedly cost around $1,100.

Some early rumors had suggested that Samsung could offer a 4K resolution display with the Galaxy Note 8, but as of now, it seems more likely that Samsung will stick with the 1440 x 2960 Quad HD+ resolution. Instead, the reader on the Note 8 will be moved lower down.

DOJ Claims Responsibility for Shutting Down Cryptomarkets AlphaBay and Hansa
Meanwhile, the alleged creator and administrator of AlphaBay , a 25-year-old Canadian was arrested in Thailand on 5 July. Hansa Market was open earlier this week and announced that it was planning to ban fentanyl from the site.

It has also confirmed that there will 21 official cases spread across six different ranges, including some made with leather, and the "LED view" preview panel. However, it remains to be seen whether these speculations turn out to be true. The S8 and S8+ both have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and microSD support.

The S8 range was launched in the largest market, Brazil, in May when Samsung also reported that global sales of the device had reached 5 million.

The revamped Galaxy Note 7 looks exactly the same as its predecessor, with the same specs but includes a smaller battery.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 is heading for a mid-August release date.

That would be consistent with recent Note launches, which have taken place in August to give the phone more time on the market ahead of the latest iPhone, which usually launches in the middle of September. As for the Galaxy J5 2016, there's still no clear communication as to whether the device will be updated to the new OS, but the details should be clearer in the coming days once the Galaxy J7 2016 starts receiving the Nougat treat. Naturally, the Galaxy Note 8 will be at least as powerful as the S8 and the S8 Plus are.

It's not hard to assume the reveal's "Do bigger things" message is a reference to the Galaxy Note 8's display size, which is rumoured to be 6.3-inches. The invitation for the Unpacked event shows the Note's S Pen, giving more than a strong hint about what will be revealed. Naturally, the upcoming flagship will feature a rear- mounted fingerprint sensor, an iris scanner and face recognition.
