Asus Zenfone 4 to be unveiled on August 17

Asus is timidly unveiling its new lineup of smartphones, the ZenFone 4. In any case, it looks like we're very close to an official announcement, as Asus recently teased the ZenFone 4 series. A fresh report citing sources in Taiwan suggests the launch of new models will take place on August 17 in the company's home country followed by global release, Android Pure reported.

If rumors are to be believed, Asus will announce four new ZenFone 4 models next month - ZenFone 4 (ZE554KL), ZenFone 4 Pro (Z01GD), ZenFone 4 Selfie (Z01M), and ZenFone 4V V (520KL/A006).

It is reported that Asus Zenfone 4 and products in the series will be launched next month in August. Following are a list of all the smartphones which would be unveiled in the coming days by Asus.

In terms of software, the handset will launch with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box, with the Zen UI layer running on top. All variants may not come with dual camera setup.

Other specifications on the ZenFone AR include a 23 megapixel rear camera plus a motion tracking and depth sensing rear camera.On the front of the device is an 8 megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Asus Zenfone 4 Max is priced at RUB 13,900 (Rs 15,000 roughly), which makes it affordable despite the feature-rich configuration.
