Kanye West has cut ties with the streaming service Tidal over a $20 million dispute with Jay-Z, TMZ reports.

According to reports, Kanye West has left the company over a financial disagreement, and Tidal has threatened to sue the West. However, Tidal claimed that it owed Kanye nothing because he failed to deliver the music videos he was contracted to give, thus, the company will pay him nothing.

The US gossip site also claims that this is the second of two letters sent from Kanye's representatives - with the first allegedly being sent two weeks prior. Sources close to the situation say West's lawyers contacted Tidal a month ago about the termination of his contract.

The basis of the dispute claims West's "The Life Of Pablo" brought an influx of 1.5 million new users to Tidal which was supposed to come with a bonus that has not been paid to West.

In 2015, Kanye West joined Jay-Z and several prominent artists such as Prince, Madonna, and Nicki Minaj to announce the relaunch Tidal.

Kanye West is seen exiting her hotel on September 3, 2016 in New York City. Last summer Kanye took to Twitter to voice his frustrations with Tidal, saying things like "This Tidal Apple beef is f*cking up the music game" and "Apple give Jay his check for Tidal now and stop trying to act like you Steve".

In tweet blitz, Trump defends social media use
President Donald Trump's latest rant on Twitter has flabbergasted "Late Show" host Stephen Colbert. Rowling, who had been trolling the president , has a theory behind Trump's early morning tweets .

Word is Kanye has complained the company owes him money - more than $3m.

"Jay Z - call me, bruh", West said during the November 19 show in Sacramento, California.

Reps for Kanye West had no comment on the matter.

The 47-year-old goes on: "But you ain't the same, this ain't KumbaYe / But you got hurt because you did cool by Ye".

The album contains a song titled, "Kill Jay-Z", in which the former friend and "Watch The Throne" collaborator featured a verse dissing West. "Please don't send them at my head".

Though there was obviously some bad blood, Kanye, Jay-Z and Beyonce have reportedly repaired their relationship since the feud. "You still ain't called me". Thus, it's entirely possible JAY-Z is simply doling out some tough brotherly love to his one-time protege.
