Redick, 33, has averaged 15-plus points in each of the past four seasons.

Redick tipped his hand with a tweet: "Trust the process", a clear nod to Philadelphia's mantra during its rebuilding cycle over the last several years.

The Sixers on Saturday agreed with guard J.J. Redick on a one-year, $23 million deal, a source confirmed to CSNPhilly.com's Jessica Camerato.
