Warriors Green makes fun of Cavaliers

Iggy has helped Golden State win the NBA Finals two of the past three years including winning Finals MVP during the 2014-15 championship run.

The Golden State Warriors got serious revenge for last year's NBA Finals defeat to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers with a dominant 4-1 series win this week, wrapping up their second title in three years.

The brothers took turns climbing on top of a water cooler to see over the crowd and jumped with delight as Curry's bus went by.

According to tradition, every year the National Basketball Association champions are visiting the White House and have a little chat with the President of America.

Residents of Oakland, which lost one of its other beloved teams, the Raiders, to Las Vegas, are still reeling from a police scandal and mourning a fatal warehouse fire.

So Thursday was a rare chance for the city to celebrate. With a team like the Warriors, full of talented players in their 20's, fans, players, coaches and owners have much to look forward to and think about.

Stephen Curry held the Larry O'Brien trophy, his wife and kids beside him.

In this year's finals, LeBron became the first player to ever average a triple-double in the league's final stanza, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love gave some of their best performances for the Cavs, and yet they were still brushed aside by the Warriors.

Oakland triumphant as parade set to celebrate NBA's Warriors
Curry earned a $12.1 million salary for the 2016-2017 season, rounding out a four-year contract for $44 million he signed in 2012. But Curry doesn't dwell on the fact that he's pulling in less than his peers.

Carter said this season that he wants to play for two more years last season, which would mean that he's preparing for the 2017-18 season to be his last.

Amid the slings and arrows being lobbed at him by scorned and bitter Oklahoma City Thunder fans, "purity trolls" who decry "superteams", and even some of the NBA's current and former stars, Durant and the Warriors persisted - and conquered everybody put in their path.

On the other hand, Green told reporters that the t-shirt only reflects the Warriors' quick victory against the Cavs. And it sparked a brief cross-country social media back-and-forth between Green and James, happening during the parade.

Green addressed the super team chatter while addressing the crowd just days after Cleveland's LeBron James - who played with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami - referenced that he had never played on a super team.

Over the years, as James became one of the all-time greatest players the National Basketball Association has ever seen, moved to Miami, won his first National Basketball Association championship and gained worldwide fame, fans began to notice something: the headband stayed the same, but the hair kept retreating from it, per USA Today.

"We're going to do what our leader [Curry] does", Iguodala told Amick. "You've got people of every race, color, religion, creed, whatever, and everybody's just coming together and loving this team". Luck really had nothing to do with it; the Warriors had a brilliant front office who made clever front office moves.

"It's still in the Bay", he said. That sparked Golden State's push to sign Durant, who made a decision to leave his original team, the Oklahoma City Thunder.
