Manchester United have entered the race to sign Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe this summer, with Real Madrid and Arsenal also hot on the heels of the Frenchman.

Thomas Lemar, also of Monaco, is also said to be interested in a switch despite the club's lack of Champions League football next term.

Arsenal have made moves on the transfer market to seal significant additions to their ranks ahead of a crucial season following the extension to Arsene Wenger's tenure in North London.

Mbappe scored 23 goals this season and the 18-year-old is Europe's most wanted young striker.

Last weekend, there were serious rumours in France that Mbappe was being chased by two major European clubs: Real Madrid and Manchester City.

He said: "The player would tell you that I was at his home a year ago to try to get him here".

Libya remains exempted from OPEC oil cuts deal
Rather than restrain output, US producers are expected to increase output by more than 1 million barrels of oil per day next year. Goldman Sachs warned the biggest risk to oil markets was what would happen next year, at the end of the OPEC-led production cut.

Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe has added to the uncertainty over his future by liking a tweet suggesting that Arsenal should bid for him and fellow France worldwide Alexandre Lacazette.

"He's a fantastic player who had an incredible second half of the season".

"Because he was at the end of his contract but Monaco managed to keep him and the decision was very, very tight".

Arsenal have become famous for their frugal spending, but it seems they are so keen on bringing Mbappe to the Emirates that they are ready to break the bank.

"He can do all those jobs but Arsene Wenger doesn't play him enough".
