For the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad, it will be the end of the road for this season.

Due to rain, the match was delayed and later KKR received a target of 48 runs in six overs as per D/L method.

Kolkata Knight Riders: Gautam Gambhir (captain), Darren Bravo, Trent Boult, Piyush Chawla, Nathan Coulter Nile, Colin De Grandhomme, Rishi Dhawan, Sayan Ghosh, Sheldon Jackson, Ishank Jaggi, Kuldeep Yadav, Chris Woakes, Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Ankit Rajpoot, Suryakumar Yadav, Robin Uthappa and Umesh Yadav.

Now, the first hurdle is breached, KKR will now lock-horns with old nemesis Mumbai Indians, against whom they do not have a pleasant record and hence Gautam Gambhir would look to to rewrite history. It was a tough wicket to bat on.

Both teams looked guaranteed of a top two finish at the way they began the tournament with Hyderabad winning six out of their first 10 while Kolkata managed seven wins but their slump in form nearly costed them a place in the play-off before David Warner's men outplayed Gujarat Lions in their final group stage game.

Warner chose him to bowl a second over and he once again troubled the experienced player of spin. They set the game up for us. We are all disappointed for losing today but (overall) we are very happy. We were thinking about putting 140 runs, and if we had a 20-over game, we had the bowling to defend. I think we have a pretty different bowling tactic than what we had at some bad times.

Merrick Garland To Remain A Judge; Won't Be FBI Director
Trump has said a decision could come before he leaves Friday for the Mideast and Europe, his first overseas trip as president. I read the Washington Post story, and I read General McMaster's response, which tends to refute the story-rebut the story.

The bowlers of KKR has planned well and gave a force towards the SRH's batting. It came immediately after he and David Warner had put up 50 for the second wicket and Sunrisers had made 32 runs off the previous three overs. While these rains will not be as intense as the last match, rainfall activity is expected to disrupt the game for some time.

Kolkata also lost Robin Uthappa in the next over before Gambhir, one of the most consistent performers this IPL season, took charge of the team's run chase.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar: The medium-pacer has been in the forefront of the SRH pace bowling and not for good reason is he the holder of the Purple Cap.

5th player to score 4,000 runs in IPL - David Warner. Nehra played 6 matches in the 10th edition of IPL and took 8 wickets.

Kolkata Knight Riders choose to bowl after they won the toss. On their part, Hyderabad's opening pair of Warner (37, 35b 2x4, 2x6) and Shikhar Dhawan (11, 13b, 1x4) failed to get the team off to a good start.
