This is a great feature for trusted apps in the Google Play store, but also gives any malicious apps downloaded onto your phone risky permissions that may allow them to gain access to your device.

Google has closed down its Android Nougat Beta program as it prepares for the next major release of its operating system. Above this are cards for recent apps and below is a scrolling list of suggestions, much like Google Now. Well, Fuchsia has absolutely nothing to do with Android nor Chrome OS.

Based on Ars Technica's findings, Fuchsia is created to work on "modern phones and modern personal computers with fast processors" with "non-trivial amounts of RAM". The UI is in very early stages of development, but it gives us an idea of what the OS would look like on smartphones and tablets. Now, according to Ars Technica, Google's secret project has a new user interface (UI) which is a card-based design for managing multiple applications.

Perhaps Fuchsia will be the hybrid OS that Google's next generation of smartphones, computers, and tablets run on, but any such transition away from Android would be hard given that it is now the world's most popular OS.

Google will now help you find nearby events
Events is beginning to rollout today on the Google app for iOS and Android, as well as the mobile website in the United States. If you are the adventurous type, you can type " events near me " and get a general glance of what is going on around you.

Fuchsia's UI is called Armadillo, and it's vastly different from anything you've seen before. Flutter apps are written in Dart, company's self-developed programming language. Instead of recently used apps, you'll see "story cards" that can include apps and other "modules" grouped around common themes, Ars reports.

A serious flaw discovered on Android by cyber security firm Check Point is known by Google, but won't be fixed until the next build of the Android OS is released later this year. Will it replace the Android and Chrome OS? Google designed a new kernel named Magenta specifically for Fuchsia.

The first good look at Google's open source operating system Fuchsia OS is here. One can also expand the user profile by tapping on it to access various options like Volume, Airplane Mode, Auto-Rotate, battery and SIM info, etc.

The APK shows a quick preview of a launcher as demonstrated by the app. Fuchsia aka Armadillo. Google is envisioning a scenario, wherein right from automobiles to your fridge; smart TV to your laptop and water cooler to your AC, everything would be running on Fuchsia.
