A 12-year-old boy from Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PaK) was Saturday arrested by the Army after he crossed over into the Indian Territory along the Line of Control in Rajouri district, an Army official said.

After having been challenged by the patrol, the boy immediately surrendered.

India accuses Pakistan of backing militants and encouraging them to attack Indian forces in Kashmir and, occasionally, in other parts of India.

Reports said that a Sikh regiment unit of the Indian army destroyed a Pakistani bunker near the LoC in less than 60 seconds.

"It's ironic that Indian authorities are using inadvertent crossings for further vitiating the already tense atmosphere in the region", he added.

Concussed Crosby skates with Penguins, no word on return
If Washington is to have any hope of a comeback, it must play smarter, more disciplined and stop shooting itself in the foot. The Pittsburgh Penguins are averaging 3.4 goals per game and are scoring on 23.1 percent of their power plays.

This exposes Pakistan on the human rights front as to how a 12-year-old child has been pushed by them into the Indian territory to probe LoC areas seeded with minefields in a highly militarised belt, army sources said.

Police in the Indian-controlled portion of Kashmir say rebels have attacked a police squad, killing three civilians and a police officer, reported Voice of America.

The injured included two women, a 12-year-old boy and a man, the spokesman said.

Last week, the Army had promised "appropriate" retribution for the "despicable act".

Senior minister Farooq pointed out that inadvertent crossings were a chronic problem in Jammu and Kashmir, and authorities from both sides had, therefore, decided a while ago that such crossings would be repatriated to their respective sides at the earliest.
