Morning Consult interviewed 85,000 registered voters nationally between January and March for the survey.
At the opposite end of the survey, GOP Gov. Charlie Baker of MA is the most-popular governor in the nation, with 75 percent approval from his constituents, followed by Republican Gov. Larry Hogan of Maryland, with 73 percent approval.
The poll also revealed that New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie is officially the lowest-rated governor in the nation.
One notable theme from the list is the exceeding popularity of Republican governors in blue states.
The most popular governor was Charlie Baker of MA, who had a 75 percent approval rating to 17 percent disapproval.
Morning Consult says: "Dan Malloy of CT remains the most unpopular Democratic governor in the country, although he has bettered his image slightly among his constituents".
Christie's approval rating has continued to drop in various polls over the a year ago, reaching record lows.
According to Morning Consult, Christie's numbers took a turn for the worse in the months following his endorsement for Donald Trump for president. Following Baker on the list were Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum (R). In the Garden State, 25 percent of voters approve of Christie's performance while 71 percent said they disapprove of his work. But as Baker has rebounded in the survey, Warren's approval rating has slipped.
His stunning fall from grace was thought to be a result of the fractious relationship between Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and Christie, who as a US attorney in 2005 jailed Kushner's father, real estate mogul Charles Kushner, for tax evasion and election fraud. He received a 50 percent approval rating, putting him in the 75th spot among all senators. At the start, Cooper is much more popular than his Republican predecessor.
The nation's least popular senator, according to the poll, is Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.
