AT&T's unlimited data plan offers free HBO, here's what to know

Among the top USA carriers and their "unlimited" plans, AT&T probably has the most expensive one with its Unlimited Plus plan at $90 per month for one line.

Sprint today lowered the cost of its unlimited data plan to $50 per month for a single line of service.

Sprint is getting more aggressive in its pricing on unlimited data as it feels the heat from traditional competitors as well as new ones, like Comcast.

"Our customers want wireless entertainment on their terms, and we're going to deliver", David Christopher, AT&T chief marketing officer, said in a news release. It offers monthly unlimited video streaming at lower-definition 480p with unlimited talk and text for $60 for one line, $115 for two line or $155 for four lines after a bill credit. The carrier said its video streams are capped at 1080p, music streams are capped at 1.5 Mbps, and gaming streams are capped at 8 Mbps. It was a great deal in most cases, but now that era is at an end, as Sprint has officially retired the promotion. "During the past few months, we've seen other national wireless carriers offer unlimited plans, but their offers don't match the value we provide".

EPA denies petition to ban pesticide used on crops
This is confusing! What the heck is FIFRA SAP? Nor are farm workers and neighbors the only people who might be put in harm's way. Pruitt's ban will likely put off any pesticide ban until 2022, when the agency is formally mandated to re-evaluate chlorpyrifos.

"Sprint launched "50% off" in 2015 as a bold offer to attract customers, and it was extremely successful". Sprint's strategy was to lure customers in and then upsell them to a more expensive service later, but with so many customers already being on unlimited plans, there was nothing to upsell.

However, that does not work when consumers switch from an unlimited plan because the telecom company has nothing to upsell.

Sprint (NYSE: S) is a communications services company that creates more and better ways to connect its customers to the things they care about most. Taxes, surcharges and restrictions apply.
