Seeing as the Christmas trailer wasn't officially official enough, The BBC released an extended new trailer for Doctor Who Season 10 before its April 15 premiere. The latter will feature interviews with Pearl Mackie, Peter Capaldi, and Steven Moffat, and is narrated by Ingrid Oliver.

After marveling at the Tardis and a (sinister?) robot that speaks emoji, Bill quickly gets thrown into a world of danger that includes: the Doctor's frenemy Missy (Michelle Gomez), the familiar Dalek command "Exterminate" and even the terrifying vacuum of space itself.

Several previous Doctors have come out in support of the idea that the next Doctor is a woman or person of colour - after over 50 years of the role being played by white males.

Doctor Who series ten will star Capaldi and introduce Pearl Mackie as Bill Potts, the Doctor's new Companion. Moffat will be replaced by Chris Chibnall, who did "Broadchurch", which stars ex-Doctor, David Tennant. This is Doctor Who Season 10. These new human-Daleks also showed up in Matt Smiths' last episode "The Time of the Doctor", where they possessed the body Tasha Lem. The premiere episode of Doctor Who spinoff show Class will also screen on the two nights. According to Express, the first episode of the upcoming is called "The Pilot".
