FCC to investigate AT&T outage affecting 911 calls

It was earlier Wednesday night police said AT&T customers couldn't connect to "911" and should use the police department's non-emergency number.
UPDATE (9:25 p.m.): An 911 outage experienced by AT&T mobile users nationwide this evening has been resolved.
AT&T issued an apology "to those who were affected".
Benton County Sheriff's Office said 911 calls from AT&T cell phones are working properly.
The Fayetteville Police Department also reported the issue.
