DeSean Jackson to Patriots?

  • The Patriots reportedly are interested in De Sean Jackson

Along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots and the Dallas Cowboys also have inquired about wide receiver DeSean Jackson, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.

It's official! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed wide receiver DeSean Jackson to a three-year, $35 million contract that includes $20 million guaranteed.

Furthermore, Lake Lewis Jr. of Redskins Wire has reported that Jackson is flying to Tampa when the legal tampering period begins to negotiate a deal.

Law Passed By Knesset Banning Israel Boycotters Entry to the Country
Jacobs said she was less concerned with the mechanics of the law than the message it sends about Israel's stance on speech. Anti-settlement NGO Peace Now called the law "neither Jewish nor democratic", and said it violates freedom of expression.

The 30-year-old Jackson can still play, leading the National Football League last season in yards per catch (17.9) while racking up his fifth career 1,000-yard campaign. More so, it also means that if the Redskins can't make a late push to keep Jackson, they will be without their two starting wide receivers from 2016. The NFL's "Next Gen Stats", which highlights the league's fastest players, lists Jackson with the third-fastest play in the league last season, a 22.6 miles per hour catch and run in Week 13 on a 59-yard pass play. Sure, Jackson hasn't killed it on the stat sheet as he turns 30 years old but would create a great 1-2 punch for defenses. Washington isn't expected to bring him back. Taking away two big weapons from a quarterback isn't the best move for a team that already has problems with their signal calle, and you can bet that all of this isn't sitting well with Redskins QB Kirk Cousins one bit. Dak Prescott was insanely good as a rookie and will only improve going forward-especially if given a deep threat the caliber of Jackson. At one point, that could have been Vincent Jackson, but he's 34 and was hurt for much of last season.

Jameis Winston'll have to start working on his fast ball, though.

After all, he was targeted an insane 176 times last season and caught 96 passes for 1,321 yards and 12 touchdowns.
