This is very exciting for Lorde fans and music lovers, because they've been - as she sings in "Green Light" - waiting for it and wanting new music from the artist for a long time. Luckily that all changed with the release of her new single, "Green Light", which is surely on it's way to reach the top of the charts.

Teaming up with Jack Antonoff, Lorde had a hand in co-producing every song. Sure, there's always a chance she might sing one of her other hits instead, but I'm choosing to be hopeful for even more new Lorde music.

"It's totally a song about heartbreak".

'It was my first major heartbreak. That's her tonight and tomorrow she starts to rebuild.

It's understandable why an artist obsessed with intensity, light and color is the flawless choice to visualize the album whose first single is called "Green Light, " and was described by Lorde on Twitter as "the story of the last 2 wild, fluorescent years of my life".

Suspected Syrian plane 'crashes near Turkey border'
Since war broke out in Syria in March 2011, more than half of its population has been forced to flee their homes. It was unclear why the aircraft had crashed, whether it had been attacked or suffered technical failure.

"There was a lot of pressure for me because I adore her as a person, and when you see the passion and the artistry in someone that you respect you kind of take that responsibility on your own as a director", he said of the clip, which was shot in Los Angeles' MacArthur Park.

That journey of self-discovery is what also led the "Tennis Court", singer to find a completely new sound for this record.

The Grammy Award victor called the record really "special" for her to listen to because it reflected her transition from a teenage to an adulthood.

Johansson will host the March 11 episode as she promotes her new film Ghost in the Shell, while Lorde has made a big comeback in the past week.

And in a tweet posted shortly after Green Light's release, Little said he was "really proud" to be part of the song's creation.
