  • Here's how Google will help you find more games and save on the Play Store

Bankhead said Google is also creating gameplay videos, which users will be able to see next to the apps on the Google Play store. This will push less popular apps that are getting a lot of use by dedicated fans further up in popularity and rankings.

This is an area where several third parties already compete for developer attention, so it make sense that Google would join the fray.

Google is also allowing developers to offer sales and increase purchases with a new strikethrough pricing feature.

That is not the only change coming to Google Play Store however.

'Dancing with the Stars' cast includes Simone Biles, Mr
The new cast was announced Wednesday morning on " Good Morning America ", and as always, there were some big surprises. Val Chmerkovskiy who won the competition twice will be paired with Normani Kordei of Fifth Harmony .

Targeting mobile users, the ad format seems similar to the occasional Google Doodle that lets us play lightweight games right in our browsers.

Last but certainly not least, Google will be hosting themed editorials which will be putting all sorts of apps into the spotlight. Obviously, the new move would benefit developers greatly, as they can make their games more visible to users. There will be a ton of variety in terms of which apps will be on sale, and sometimes a couple dollars off regular price is enough to get people interested in paying for that app they were thinking about for a while but never pulled the trigger on.

Google will also soon establish a new game editorial page in Play Store where editors will be highlighting new game titles, which looks like the editorial segments in Apple's App Store. However, it is more focused on games that have "strong user retention and user engagement" numbers will be more featured on Google Play than games that do not. This also results in a more qualified install of the game since the person actually will have some experience with it and will install the game because they wanted to play more of it. This extends to mobile, virtual reality, and augmented reality, as well, as Google has stepped things up on Day 1 with their annual Developer Day for all things Google Play and Android gaming.
