BENGALURU, India Feb 14 India will open a second production line for its light combat aircraft, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said on Tuesday, pressing ahead with a home-grown plane the military has had doubts over for years.

Defence aviation and electronic public sector majors HAL and BEL will together contribute initially to the innovation and technology fund in the defence sector to promote start ups, Defence Minister Manohar Parikkar today announced. Seventy-two aircraft, both on static and flying display, will be part of the show. These countries will showcase a total of 70 Aircraft's.
